This contest started on August 1, but I just learned of it today. Its deadline is (*cough!*) tomorrow.

A "drabble" is a very short story containing exactly 100 words...no more, no less. Its title is limited to 15 words, no more.

In other news, my poem "Forest Dragons" received an honorable mention in the Science Fiction Poetry Association's sonnet contest. Another entry, "Salvage," reached the top ten for "at least one" judge. Both will appear in a chapbook of the contest's top sonnets, to be released by Spec House of Poetry ( www.spechouseofpoetry.com/store ) in cooperation with SFPA. Contest entries included 262 poems by 165 poets.
And I've dashed off a drabble and sent it in... :)
