I had a blast at Readercon! My report is over at
http://deviationstrilogy.blogspot.com/2008/07/readercon.html

This past week my mail brought contributor's copies of Space and Time #104 (which contains my poem "First Contact in Appalachia"), We'Moon '09 (which contains my poem "Ancient Wisdom Distilled"), The Drabbler #11 (which contains my short-short story "Houston, We Are the Problem"), and galleys for my poem "Derivative Work," forthcoming in Asimov's (issue TBD).

The entry also cites more praise for my story "Hermit Crabs" (Electric Velocipede #14) and a recommendation of Covenant -- and I've learned that Deviations: Appetite, the second volume in my series, is now available for pre-order at Barnes & Noble.

And I'm off to Denvention in less than two weeks.

First priority: Catching up on sleep and striving for coherence... :-)
